It's crazy that we're heading into the second half of the year. It's been a much busier time for me than I was expecting. Yet, I'm getting more done too. I know being accountable here has helped a lot. I also think it's me doing things that I have been wanting to do. Time has freed up now that I've said no to extra things that don't energize me.

I am keeping my list to the bare minimum and I will focus on it at the end of the week. I have some family obligations to attend outside of my immediate family this week.

  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Correspondence: Family History group;
  • Menu Planning
    • Menu plan for upcoming week.
    • Check that ingredients for planned meals are in the house.
    • Make a grocery list.
    • Buy groceries.
    • Food Prep: Cut up onions, peppers and carrots for upcoming meals.
  • FlyLady: Living Room, Entrance, Dining Room and Front Porch:
    • Dust.
    • Vacuum.
    • Dust Blinds.
    • Sweep the front porch.
    • Clean front door.
    • Wipe down wall and door jambs.
    • Dust Chandelier.
    • Wipe down dining room chairs
  • Declutter Project: Organize digital photos (20 minutes daily when possible this summer)
  • Do weekly reflection.
  • Staple reflection papers to the planner pages.
  • Update journal.

I THINK we are about settled into the new house, or close. There are still some things we would like to do but they are things that can wait or will be done soon. DH starts work on Thursday so the pressing things are done. I'm ready to rest for a bit. Our unaccompanied baggage arrives today with the artwork i've been waiting for to start hanging things on the walls, so that will begin this week. I'm being very picky about what goes where and what even gets put on the walls. We also talked about painting one area in the living room so that may happen soon.
