The daffodils are in full bloom which is a good two weeks early. We saw trees with pink petals in bloom too.

I never got to do the extra things on my list from last week. I ended up spending all of my free time on a school project that I have to bring in on Tuesday. Lots of ideas that I tried out failed so I had to start over multiple times. I still have a lot to do in these next two days. Then I can focus on the other stuff.
  • Daily:
    • Exercise
    • Prayer
    • Calendar Review of Appointments/Meetings
  • Weekly:
    • Dust/Vacuum/Mop
    • Bills
    • Laundry
    • Menu Planning
    • Groceries
    • Weekly Reflection
  • Monthly:
    • Laundry area
  • Extra:
    • Prepare song/poem for Wedding. [One of the celebrations we are attending asked to perform a poem/song/skit for the couple.]
    • Make garden art gift [I was asked to construct a funny piece of garden art for my aunt's birthday.]
    • Send Birthday Greetings

It's a work in progress. We get the same thing every year, shampoo, deodorant, shave foam etc which we will still get as it helps the kids not have to buy items through the year.
I am looking for interesting things this year just to jazz things up a little.

I got DS some whiskey stones which I thought were interesting. They are cube shaped rocks that you freeze and pop into a drink, they don't melt like ice will.
I got Mum a lovely bottle of pink Moscato (a wine) to put in hers.
I got DD and DSIL some shower melts in various scents.
I got DH some wrist bands that you wear to deter insects.

Will keep an eye out on our travels and see what else we can find that is different for us.
