March 2025 decluttering

This is what I mean by my paper issues. I opened the junk drawer in the kitchen and grabbed a handful.
This was in there. Note the date at the top. So glad I saved it all these years!!!
This is the kind of stuff I find All. The. Time.

Today 3 more boxes went to the thrift store plus I tossed 6 jars of old items from the refrigerator. I woke up this morning from a nightmare. I thought the organizer had dumped my boxes of old jewelry into one box so it was all mixed up. It was 5:30 and did not want to wake up the others and the animals by sneaking downstairs to see if my dream was true. I finally went down at 10 to find all my jewelry all in their boxes but neatly stacked together on shelves instead of just stuffed on shelves.

I have had to toss so much due to the mice. I am a bit OCD about anything that may have come near them.

Yesterday, in my room alone, two bags of garbage and one for contributions. Much more to do in there. I am also getting rid of things I will no longer use.

Stressful to say the least/

Went to straighten my cans in the pantry and it just grew into a major cleaning and addition of some extra shelves. Forget to take before photos. Tossed out a kitchen trash can of odds and ends. Have checked dates on baking soda, crisco and baking powder so that is done for the holiday (they are on the grocery list since they were outdated). It was a year ago that the organizer came to help me start organizing so it was time to do again. Maybe took 45 minutes with a small coffee break.

Cleaned and organized one drawer in Dh room. It is his snack drawer. Because I wanted a Caramel Peanut Butter Cup.

6 more boxes gone and a trash bag of stuff left the house today.

Trash bag full of paper rubbish from my bedroom. We bought 9underbed storage boxes, so I recycled a few shoe boxes I was previously using too

Guys cleaned some in shed and was burning. Hope to continue with it tomorrow.

Advertised some packing boxed on Facebook, they are gone. We got given a whole heap of boxes and we will not use them all.
