Let's start a new month------and see what clutter goes!
I am always amazed when I hear you saying that you took items back. Here we can only return items up to 30 days after buying and you need a receipt. After that there are no refunds. This evening I took back a pair of boots to Rosses that Teigan got for Christmas and really didn't care for
They like the receipt but if no receipt and it is their stuff they will give you a store voucher for the price. If it is on sale/clearance you get the price of the item at that time if no receipt.I am always amazed when I hear you saying that you took items back. I am trying to change my thinking with this too. During and after COVID I became so scared of running out of food I think I became guilty of borderline hoarding. We used most of it up over the last few months prior to moving and I now have a pared down pantry and stockpile which I am liking. I need to find a balance though as the nearest supermarket to us is a 1 hour round tripLana- I don't stock pile food like I used to....
Like you said, too much waste!!!
I would rather just get what I need for the week and be good.
I do buy packs of chicken and ground turkey and break them down for the freezer.
My freezer used to be sooooo filled. Now it is not.
Since I lost so much of my pantry because of the mouse invasion, I, too, am trying to buy and keep less although I do have much of a prepper orientation. Will work more on eating from the fridge to empty that out.I don't stock pile food like I used to....
Our husbands must be kin!I have pared down since the hoarding during covid. Dh loved the hoarding of supplies. He still tends to buy too much. Even if I tell him do not buy more than, he buys extra.
