Welcome to the 5th month!

2 bath sponges and some empty containers out of main bath.

Trash from Teigans room where she left wrappings from bath items on her vanity.

Have a bath cover up to see if either of the coworkers would like it. If not will cut up for dust cloths.

Put all the beads together and got rid of packaging for them.

Did more decluttering at parent's house main floor as we will have a renter soon. Filled 2 big garbage containers, 4 other industrial size garbage bags, 1 carload to thrift store, 1 carload to family friends for a youngster going to an appartment, brought 4 bags here but 1 is mostly things to send to thrift store but have to go through it first. things I brought are mostly cleaning products.. just a few serving dishes (mom had tons and some very nice ones), and craft stuff for grandkids. sis took 2 bags and brother 2 bags. Other brother had 3 bags. 2 big rubbermaid tubs for 2 nieces. Cousin came by (he lived with us with uncle for 3 years when young so we are close), he took vintage camera (he is a good photographer), mini tv dad had in his taxi way back when, grandpa's rosary (made from flowers from his funeral - we already each have one), a picture of our grandpa.

Dh and I are going to slowly declutter the garage. We took a bunch of electrical stuff to get recycled on Saturday. We ususally have something going on every time they run a recycling event nearby. This year we were free and clear! Our garage looks so much better already.

I just went through the boxes and bubble wrap left from dds' moves. They are in recycling and trash.

Took quite a few things, clothes, blankets etc to DD’s so they are gone. The suitcase that I stored them in is nearly empty. I did though bring home a huge pile of gift bags and things that she was not needing. I will sort through them and donate any I don’t want and keep anything I do.

Cleaned out the kitchen pantry and refrigerator/ freezer. Didn’t pitch as much as I thought I would. A lot of paper trash from refilling all the canisters. It does surprise me that I continue to find things out of date. I’ve sorted through all the canned goods twice this year and I still found a couple of things past their prime.

MM, this surprises me too. I think I am fairly aware of rotating food and checking the dates and every now and then I find something.
I am much better than I used to be.

Picked up trash in yard that came from somewhere after work today

Allen sold a sickle (tractor piece) so it is going to be gone and not sitting around

A huge bag of birthday and Christmas gift bags are packed and will go to the church next time I am in Canberra. I sorted through my totes and will need to write a note that I do not need any gift bags for any occasions.

I dusted, decluttered, and organized my sister's pass through bar counter area. BIG difference! :) Then on the living room side of the bar I moved out the two bar stools and vacuumed the carpet, dusted the cob webs, and dusted the chairs ... and put them back along with the four different cat scratcher mats that were under them. I would toss those ... as poor old blind Ella kitty doesn't see or used them. But I will let my sis do that at some point.

Rotating clothes from Summer to Winter. Donated 2 pairs sweat pants and a few bras that cut into me. Tossed 5 or 6 pairs of undies, a nighty and a pair of pj's. I tossed a tee shirt that I bought from Old Navy in San Francisco when I was there with DD 12 years ago. I certainly got a lot of wear out of that $5 tee. Sad to see it go. Cut up an old tee shirt of DH for rags. I will use them as part of a Christmas present that I am doing.
Donated a paint-your-own plaster figurine set that I was given a few years ago that I will never do.

Dh has just rung a carpenter friend and offered him a whole lot of building supplies and unused paint. DH will take a ute load of rubbish to the tip this afternoon. Still a long way to go but little by little.

Jaymee came over to pick up items I got for her in Mt. Vernon yesterday and was saying something about needing pipe cleaners so sent her home with 2 packs from here.
