Katrina, I see you are heading to Tasmania next year. I have distant cousins there. I'd love to get there one day but I'm not sure if that will happen. There are so many places to see and so little money to see them all. :)

The flowering trees and bushes are making their last push of colors. The pink and red azaleas and the white dogwood trees are starting to show green. The maple trees are dropping their "helicoptor" seeds on the sidewalk, porch, patio and driveway. Thankfully we have screening on top of the gutters but they will need to be swept off soon. We've had a lot of rain these two weeks but yesterday and today have been gloriously sunny.

Daily
  • Exercise
  • Prayer
  • Calendar Review of Appointments/Meetings:
    • Move dds out of college
    • Before and after school meetings
  • Reading ( 5 minutes)
  • Journal
  • Writing (5 minutes)
Weekly:
  • Dust/Vacuum/Mop
  • Bills
  • Laundry
  • Menu Planning
  • Groceries
  • End of Week Reflection
  • Set Research/Writing Goals
  • Answer Autobiographical Questions
  • Weed Garden
Monthly: Kitchen
  • Dust the top of the fan.
  • Clean the oven.
  • Clean the microwave.
  • Clean out the refrigerator.
  • Wipe down cabinets and appliances.
  • Wash the floor.
  • Clean Windows.
  • Wipe down the trash can.
  • Wipe down the wall and door jambs.

Extra:
  • May Christmas Prep: Any new recipes to try? Try it out this month.
  • Declutter Office Space
  • Clean out gutters.
  • Transplant boxwood and azalea seedlings.
  • Make a garden list.
  • Clean out weeds inside the garden bed.
  • Dig up flower bulbs after they bloom.
  • Plant flowers in flower boxes.
  • Work on craft.
  • Work on vacation plans.

Create your life rather than live it. - James Clear

I have been to Tasmania 3 or 4 times, always for DrillDance.
I agree, I would like to do a bit more travelling but money is needed in order to do so. I shudder at spending $10,000 on a holiday. I would love to travel with DH to the country side of France and Belgium and would love to do the US and Canada again. Also many places in Australia that I would love to visit.
