Even though I'm looking forward to spring, just reading about fall in Australia makes me feel happy and cozy. It's funny how that happens.

Last week we had temperatures all over the place. One day we were wearing short sleeves and yesterday we had a few inches of snow. Today's temperatures were just sitting at freezing.

I start a new fast-paced course this week that is super time intensive. I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Priority
  • Word of Year: Release
  • Stretches/Cardio
  • Journal
  • Homework
Secondary
  • Pay bills: Phone
  • Correspondence: Family History group;
  • Appts: Monday - Meeting; Late Pick Up; Tuesday - Late Pick Up ; Thursday- Late Pick Up; Friday-Late Pick Up;
  • Weekly Cleaning: Vacuum, Dust, Mop, Empty trash cans, Bathrooms
  • Monthly Cleaning: Laundry/Mudroom
  • Gardening - Weed
  • Shred papers

Mary, looking forward to hearing all about your studies.

Yes, perfect weather here at the moment and I am in full nesting mode. Love early Autumn it is my very favourite time of the year.
( I love it even more than Christmas)!
I know though that the perfect weather will not last long and we will soon be in the depths of Winter so I will enjoy these days when I can.

This week's module was very basic and a good reminder on looking at all parts of a census record and recording the source of information well enough that someone else could find it on their own. It also showed me that while paying attention to details is my weakness in getting something finished, it is also my strength when it comes to research and data analysis. Paying attention to details is exactly what is done in genealogy.

Australia had a National census last year and DD worked on the data entry. She said that it was very interesting and realised how important it was for future generations.
I like looking at census information, it is like looking into their lives and trying to piece it all together.
