Glad to hear that things are getting back on track and you're getting a lot done. :)

Our summer is looking different with our vacation being cancelled. Graduation will be virtual. I'm looking to add other elements of fun or "different" to our summer. I thought a few parties (for our household) would be fun. We're also growing more fresh herbs to add our summer meals. I picked up a bunch of various types of mint plants to add to iced tea or just to infuse in water: Chocolate mint, Strawberry mint, Pineapple mint and Orange mint. We have spearmint and peppermint already. I would have picked up the apple mint that I saw there but I ran out of space in my arms.

Mary, I have never heard of some of those mints. I think I woulds like pineapple mint, they all sound very Summery.
I hope that you get to enjoy your Summer, it will be interesting to see what what you come up with, remember to journal your plans somewhere.

We've had decent weather these last few days. The flowers that I bought on Saturday are planted. Two raised beds are weeded and are ready for planting when the seedling get bigger. I have orange mint cuttings I'm hoping will root in the next week. I'd like to give them to the school faculty. I still have to plant the herbs and mints in pots.

I shopped at a different grocery store and finally found baking powder. People wore masks but it was crowded! It was as if social distancing never existed except at the check out when everyone was waiting 6 ft. apart. I started buying items for the household essentials shelf I keep for the week in between Christmas and New Years. (I work hard to take a real break from grocery shopping that week.) I usually start that at the end of September/beginning of October. I picked up dish soap, dishwasher soap and a cleaner for the inside of the dishwasher.

I love this idea. Meal planning goes right out the window for this week for us. We either eat leftovers or not much at all. I think I will make a concerted effort to plan for this week even if it is only fresh fruit or homemade pizzas or burgers on the bbq. Will add to planner.
