We've had plenty of cool, wet and cloudy spring days. This looks like the first week of getting some sun and warmer temperatures for 5 straight days. One thing I noticed is this house functions on routine and my routine was off as I adjusted to the homework load these last two months. I've got to make some changes to my days. The old routine just does not fit into this schedule.

Priority

  • Word of Year: Release
  • Stretches/Cardio
  • Journal
  • Homework
Secondary

  • Pay bills: Internet
  • Correspondence: Family History group;
  • Appts: Monday - Late Pick Up; Tuesday - Late Pick Up; Wednesday - Late Pick Up; Thursday - Late Pick Up; Friday- Late Pick Up;
  • Weekly Cleaning: Vacuum, Dust, Mop, Empty trash cans, Bathrooms
  • Monthly Cleaning: Kitchen
    • Dust top of fan.
    • Clean oven.
    • Clean the microwave.
    • Clean out the refrigerator.
    • Wipe down cabinets and appliances.
    • Wash the floor.
    • Clean Windows.
    • Wipe down the trash can.
    • Wipe down the wall and door jambs.
  • Yard work: Weeds, Branch pick up
  • Austen Reading & notes & email
  • Laundry

I need to get back to mine too. I was hoping to be a bit further ahead by now.

LOL! Well, it has been an appropriate word for what is happening in my life. A lot of things are being "released" whether I'm ready or not. It's all good but it's out of my comfort zone. For instance, my kitchen is cleaned but not as detailed as normal. Until school and work slow down, it is "good enough." :)

Mary, the problem is that we like things "just so" and ordinarily we can manage that. When times get tough and things slide a little we are still way ahead of the game but not to our standards and therefore think we are behind.
I often think where would we be if we were not as organised as we are?
