New color switch trees/lights technology...

So Kmart this year is advertising "Color Switch Plus" items - pre-lit trees and light sets. They are LED lights that can be clear or multi-color depending on the setting you choose. Or another setting makes them switch back and forth.

Which just might solve the eternal debate between DH and I on white lights vs. multi-color LOL

Just curious if anyone else has heard of this technology yet? Seen it? Bought it?

The Kmart website says they have the light sets (also outdoor ones too) that color change too. Claims to be energy efficient. Must go check them out.

We sell a tree w/ those lights on the tree. I love it but don't have it.

We got our first faux tree this year at Costco. That's the kind of lights it has. We haven't put it up yet. The lights are LED, so should be energy efficient.
