New Year's Day 2010 Dinners

Happy New Year!

What is planned for your new year dinner? We eat dinner on New Year's with my mom and dad. We'll be eating pork roast, kielbassi and sauerkraut with mashed potatoes. Sauerkraut and pork are considered our good luck food!

I honestly have no idea. We are driving to KC and eating lunch at Friday's. We'll probably just do leftover cheese dip from last night.

Hhmmmm...... Minestroni soup. Peas in a curry sauce. 2 kinds of vegetarian sausages. Green salad. Mixed fruit.

My dad is making a ham and we always have black eyed peas.

Last night at my friends- he made his traditional New Years pork shoulder roast with cabbage, sauerkraut, onion- slow cooked for 6 hours. I had a little bit (because of my current stomach issues) it was delicious! I wish I could have had more.

For munchies i made crab ragoon and heated some spincah quiches
