November 2024 Decluttering Club

Trash together and it got burnt in the barrel (been cleaning so lots of throw away), have started new containers for the recycling (paper, magazines, plastic and cardbroad).

Replaced the cemetery flowers with Christmas ones and threw the old flowers away in their disposal bin besides bringing them home. They were very faded and worn.

Have Goodwill box still going (since can't seem to remember to take it!) so adding to it.

Threw out some old DrillDance clothes. I am packing up the rest of the DrillDance items and will pass on to a friend.
2 boxes of DS's Christmas gifts are on the way to him.
2 sportsbags that I was using for storage are gone.

New pans arrived today. They are too big for my stove top. Will have to replace it since I am decluttering the old pans. Guess that is what happens when husbands complain about people cooking and stoves get dirty.

The bag of gifts for the upstate folks are gone. I used some of the takeaways from Halloween as holiday gifts and they were appreciated so that is kind of double decluttering.

Also Josh and Jin's advent calendar from Bonne Maman went home with them.

DB just came over to help sort through CDs and DVDs. He took some and I have about 30 to go to the consignment shop. I'm not sure if they will buy them or not. 3 CDs are to go to DD,

DD picked up 3 of the 4 boxes of Christmas dishes... we will bring the 4th on Christmas as she had no more space in her car
4 dishtowels from mom's will be taken to thrift shop
1 dishtowel of mine
1 heavy wooden coffee table was sold on Marketplace last year

Started a new box since Dh took one to the thrift store. Have several tin boxes in it from cleaning out the gift closet. Decluttered Christmas gifts to LC1 today. An early Christmas for her. When I emptied the gift closet I decided to let everything in there go. Will give LC2 her other gifts on our Christmas on the 15th. She will be here in the morning so can take her items. Anything left from the gift closet will be up for grabs and then to the thrift store. One pair of Dh boots went home with LC1 for her son. But he did bring in a new pair to fill the vacancy.
