This is my last week of solo teaching and only one day of face to face, shouldn't be too bad, and a holiday week to boot. I'm getting observed for the last time this week as well. DH bought me the Silk & Sonder subscription i've been asking for!! It's a monthly planner/journal and they send you a new one each month, so he went ahead and gave me the one for December because it wouldn't make much sense for him to give it to me on Christmas when it was almost over. hehe He bought the 3 month subscription so I can try it out. I'm excited to try it.

[X] Insulation installation at house (afternoon)
[X] Final clinical observation (Tuesday)

[ ] Work on and complete Task 2 edTPA
[ ] Begin working on e-portfolio

[X] Bake snickerdoodle cookies
[ ] Pull out elf and llama
[ ] Make mask for elf

I'll come back and update as more things come up.

Lots to get done in the next three days for Thanksgiving and then we jump into Advent preparation. I lost my momentum these last 11 days. I'm fighting to reclaim it.

Weekly:
  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills.
  • Make a grocery list.
  • Buy groceries.
  • HHP
  • FlyLady: Master bedroom
To do this week:
  • Work off of Thanksgiving Prep list
  • Deliver gift bags.
  • Shop online sales.
  • Work on Advent Activities list.
  • Wrap gifts.
  • Finish December menu planning.

Mary, we cannot be "on" all the time. Sometimes it is exhausting to lead our lives. I am so behind at the moment and I am not sure if I will ever catch up. Still not sure about when to decorate for Christmas but I know it will get done.

I just realized that a month from today is Christmas Eve!!! o_O November has been a blur with all the stuff going on here. My goal is just to focus on what I can do each day. With everyone home now doing school online, I'll be asking for more help to get things done.

I most likely won't get to decorating until Monday or later. We are supposed to get our tree on Sunday which is really an all day event from the time we leave to get the tree until the tree is completely decorated. I decorate one room per day typically. (I undecorate one room per day too.) I'm hoping to have the house decorated by the end of next week. I'm ok if it isn't done then.
