I noticed a big change in colors on the trees from Monday to Friday. We have lots of reds, oranges and yellows now. Weather wise, it's been one of the nicest Octobers in recent memory.
For the last two years, I've let a few chosen pumpkins rot in our flower garden. A few have grown and as long as I can keep the deer, racoons, rabbits, and squirrels away from the plants, we've gotten a couple to grow. This year we got 5 small pumpkins. It's our biggest yield yet.
