Welcome to October, it is one of my favourite months of the year. We are still in lockdown here and will be for at least another couple of weeks. We are getting used to the slower pace. The weather this week will be wet again. Good to have our water reserves filled before the very hot days of Summer hit.
I am still working on HGP this week, it might be the first year I complete it all!!

Now that HGP and HHP have started look at HGP. Is it working for me? How can I improve it? More seasonal cleaning ?
Maybe a fusion of both, take what I like from each one and make my own plan. I have time now to look at them both.

Word of the Year:
IMPROVE

Katrina, it looks like their is a silver lining to lockdown. ;) I think your October is like our April. The leaves are starting to turn ever so slightly. Every now and then a leaf drops. The apples are ripe for picking. The pumpkins that we did not plant but grew on their own are ready too. The last of our tomatoes are hanging on and turning red. The angle of the sun is definitely different now.

Mary, I love October and April the best. Beautiful times of the year.
It is lovely here at the moment, mild but very windy. I do love these bright sunny warm days and cherish them, it will be hot soon.

This week is getting away from me. I have been working on things that I didn't plan to do now like cleaning and decluttering the office. However, dh was on board with moving out of there for a few days so I could tackle it. I'm hoping tomorrow to get to the kitchen.
