My Happy Place
Hi guys,

I was just wondering how much of your Christmas shopping will be done online this year?

So far, I have done 100% of my shopping online. I love Amazon, ebay and Etsy!!

I am going to the mall today to look at two things my daughter has asked for - I could order them online, but their shipping costs are high, so I will purchase these items instore.

Bits and pieces are done on line. More this year than in the past. I am still a bricks and mortar shopper mostly. But I am pretty lucky with my location. I have 2 major shopping centres within 10 minutes plus the Sydney City is only 15 minutes away. I tend to buy cheaper items online through ebay, aliexpress. I do use Strawberrynet a bit and iherb. More expensive things I tend to shop for in person.
Most of my ideas come from online though. I spend a lot of time looking online.

I do not do a lot of shopping online. I suppose I am lucky that I have the time to shop at the stores, and also my nearest mall is a 3 minute drive from my home.
I will do a lot of comparison on line for the best prices, and I nearly always get the kids dvd's online as there is often free shipping.

If I do go online I use store sites plus ebay.

Here the stores are a little farther and I found there are so many people at the store! Store hours here are 9:30 to 5:00 (mostly) Mon to Wednesday. Thursdays & Friday 9:30 to 9:00 and saturedays 8:00 to 5:00. Sundays 12:00 to 5:00.

Free shipping is a must!!

We do most of our shopping online mainly because we can find better bargains in less time than driving from store to store. Delivery time is getting very good. Sometimes in 2 or 3 days.

I think I have done about 90% of my shopping online this year. I am about finished. Still have sewing and gift cards to get. Have all the fabric for my projects, and hope to have the gift cards the first week of November. I dread having to get out in the cold!

I'd say 95%. We live pretty rurally and I'm always scouting for deals online. Just about the only thing I'll buy in person is the stocking stuffers.
