Personal touches for entryway

Ok girls, since I got such great posts from you on the bedroom, let's hear your ideas for a warm welcoming entryway. This is my room for this month. Such an important area since it's the first impression people get of your home. I'm setting up a picture gallery on the entryway wall. How else do you guy's decorate your entry's?

What a fun topic.

I have a pedestal table in my foyer on which I keep a seasonal container of flowers; this week it holds a few dozen daffodils in a copper urn. Also on the table is a silver tray for correspondence.

Other items of adornment in the foyer are a grandfather clock, a coat rack, and a large mirror hanging by the door to the vestibule.
