Saturday I spent the day with my mom first having breakfast at IHOP, then looking for trash cans. We went to about 3 Big Lot Stores because she swore that's where she bought them from before. We finally found what she wanted in Walmart (go figure). Anyway, traveling from one Big Lot to the next I noticed they had a few fall items on display. By the time we got to the third one, not only were there fall items but Christmas stuff as well. That really put a smile on my face.

Just curious. Has anyone else seen a hint of Christmas yet? :)

Hallmark had a beautiful displays of fall and Halloween. Other than their ornaments not much for Christmas to be seen in our stores.

Not a hint of any thing Christmassy here yet. I have seen calenders and diaries for 2015 but nothing else. I don't think it will be too long though before things start popping up in the stores.

I haven't been out much, but will be doing some shopping in the next month I'm sure, with my daughter going back to school, so I'll be on the lookout. I use to enjoy going to Big Lots, but they closed ours. We have another one a ways away, but I'm never really in that area.

Yes, I did see some Christmas ribbon and craft kits out at Hobby Lobby a month ago! I can't think of another store - other than Christmas Tree Shops - that has stuff that early! :)

I want to keep my eye on Hallmark! They always have such cute things!

someone on FB posted picture (Looked like maybe at Lowes?) of trees that were up. But they were orange, black, green, red, pink

I know at Kohls the Christmast section usually goes up in September.

Target usually has a small section started about the same time they switch the season from back to school to Halloween.

When I was in Walmart the other day they were clearing out the gardening/outdoor aisles-and we all know why-but nothing out yet

On a side note-WHY can Asheville not get a Hobby Lobby???!!!! I know we have AC Moore, Michaels, and Joann's but would it hurt?? :D

I browsed magazines at Walmart yesterday, but didn't see anything Christmas. There were several fall magazines, though.

Our Hobby Lobby started putting things out in April this year, the earliest I've ever seen it. It was just the ribbon and pick aisle but that is really early.

Yesterday I was at Hallmark and they have the Christmas ornament display up, not completely filled in yet but it's there.

I was surprised at how much Christmas things are on display in Hobby Lobby. I had to keep my hands in my pockets when I browsed the other day.

Best way to keep my hands in my pocket, is to just avoid going. I was telling my BF on Saturday night, I have a few things I need to buy to complete projects, but I get there and I just want to do 50 other things. I just wish I could not work and craft and scrap all day long!! LOL
