Quilted cards

We had fun last night making "quilted" cards using index cards, a pencil, crayons and ink pen.

I drew a "patchwork quilted patterned" some had Be Mine heart in the middle, some said BFF, some just had sayings around the patch work. All writing was in black pen. My daughter & granddaughter colored the "quilt pattern" with regular colors.

We might use watercolor pencils to paint some today. They are so cute.

I bet the cards are very cute. My Grandaughters are beyond the age where they would enjoy making cards. All they want to do right now is talk on the phone, play on the computer or think about BOYS!!!! I miss when they were younger and loved crafts..oh well maybe one day they will enjoy it again.

Thanks it was fun. Had to go back & edit my post realized I had 1 grandaughter too many on there.

We were 3 generations creating together that's the really neat thing.

How nice for you that they take an interest in the things you love to do. Hopefully they will never tire of doing crafts with you.

We're quite close and enjoy doing things together. I'm just trying to feel GOOD(my word for the year) this year & enjoy the moments.
