My goal is 25. I got to 60 in 2025, but am not sure that I'll do that again!

I set the goal of 10 but think I will be comfortable with 15 this year. It helps that I am at the library every Tuesday for Knit and Natter.

I think i'll stick with a goal of 20 like last year. I find it hard to get myself to read as often as I would like during the school year and end up getting most of my reading done over the summer or school breaks.

2/30 Bound In Secrets & Lies----By: Hillary Doan Sperry (another very short read today 1-3-26) Read going and coming home from Club Volleyball and also read during the games we weren't playing. These 2 books were in 1 and about maybe 180 to 200 pages each.

Ok, I will try this again. It's been ages. I will try to read 12 books this year.

I took three books out from the library this month:
Book 1 - It's a book that I read in 2021 and I'm reading again: Its OK That You're Not OK: Meeting Grief and Loss in a Culture That Doesnt Understand By Megan Devine.
Book 2 - So Good They Can't Ignore You: Why Skills Trump Passion in the Quest for Work You Love by Cal Newport
Book 3 - Fighting for Philadelphia: Forts Mercer and Mifflin, the Battle of Whitemarsh and the Road to Valley Forge, October 5 - Dec 19, 1777 by Michael C. Harris

2, 3. Into the Valley and The Compound by James Hunt - another dystopia look at the world. Not crazy about it. One thing that bothered me was that it took place in NYC and everyone just went bonkers in about 2 hours after the EMP hit. I’ve been in NYC for three blackouts and Covid and, while yes, there was some looting, most people just chilled with their neighbors or by themselves, until the lights went back on, and were fine.
