Recipe gift - notebook/file - for bridal shower gift

I have been to bridal showers where they included a recipe card with the invitations for us to fill with a favorite family recipe.
At one of the bridal showers, the future MIL (who sadly passed away unexpectedly), wrote on her index card "The best seafood ever" then the directions said
1. Dress nicely 2. Grab the car keys 3. get in Car 4. Drive to the nearest Red Lobster 5. Thank me when you get home
I nearly peed my pants when I read it!!!
I too will be including lots of recipes for any future bridal showers I will be attending!!! Thanks for reminding me about that day. It's nice to remember something funny and nice about people who have passed on!!! And that memory above is one of those memories!!!

that is exactly what we did madison66!! All the cards were put into a photo album for the couple to enjoy for years to come!!!
