I love the frames, Ginger...and it would make a nice project for DS(5) to help with. He's been working on his printing...so I might let him make the letters - wouldn't that make a nice keepsake? Hmmm...cute gift for grandparents, aunts/uncles too. OK, I'm putting small frames on my shopping list!

These are all great ideas! Who knew yard sale finds plus spray paint plus paper scraps could make such a beautiful display.

I like crafts that can be completed quickly, and this fits the bill. They are great.

I did something similar with 3 tiny baby frames and a tiny shelf someone gave me when I was pregnant with my DS. I did his initials in the frames and it's all in shades of blue to match his room. You could use the white frames and have the word joy, plus a set of papers for the rest of the year. You could do initials or a wedding date or a small design on the outside 2 frames and the family's last name initial in the middle. Lots of different ideas for that.

I'm always in awe of people who can look at something and know how to turn it from trash to treasure! I've been able to do that with one or two things but nothing consistant or nearly as cute!

Not a big crafter, but I think even I can do the picture frames.
