Katrina - You hanging in there? It's good you are able to get outside for walks. I've found the outdoors to be invaluable.

I have a list for this week but I'm unsure what will get done. I'm going to be helping my brother with clean up whenever I can.

  • Weed Gardens
  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills -
  • Correspondence: Family History group;
  • Appts: Tuesday: Physical Therapy and Zoom Meeting; Late Pick Up; Wednesday: Late Pick Up ; Thursday: Physical Therapy and Church
  • Menu Planning
    • Menu plan for upcoming week.
    • Check that ingredients for planned meals are in the house.
    • Make a grocery list.
    • Buy groceries.
    • Food Prep: Cut up onions, peppers and carrots, etc, for upcoming meals.
  • FlyLady: Kitchen
    • Dust top of fan.
    • Clean oven.
    • Clean microwave.
    • Clean out the refrigerator.
    • Wipe down cabinets and appliances.
    • Wash floor.
    • Clean Windows.
    • Wipe down the trash can.
    • Wipe down wall and door jambs.
  • Do weekly reflection.
  • Staple reflection papers to the planner pages.
  • Update journal.
  • Wrap birthday gifts and sign cards
  • Declutter boxes from the closet.
  • HHP - Additional things to do
    • Work on the items on the Holiday Spruce Up list.

Mary, so far, so good. Enough to keep me busy and yes luckily we can go outside for walks for up to 2 hours a day.
I have still got family history to sort through and HGP to keep going with.

Mary, I am interested in Fly Lady. Not something that I have ever looked into. Might do some research on it with the potential of adding it to my 2022 routine.

When I was overwhelmed with keeping up with things in early motherhood, FlyLady saved me from drowning in a mess. The emails can be a lot in the beginning. I no longer subscribe to the emails. I've taken the best of FlyLady as it applies to me and made a rotational weekly list which you see me post. If you go to the Zones and/or Detailed cleaning section, that is what you see me working on this week.

Thank you for that information. I have a separate email address for emails that I don't want clogging up my main address so I can use that if I need to. What I am doing now seems to work but I am always looking at ways to shake things up.

This week I got the bare minimum done around the house. I'm okay with it as along as the clutter is put away. :)

Some weeks are like that. Real life gets in the way and our focus moves to other things. I feel that if we are on track for most of the time one or two weeks will not derail us and we should be able to get back on track relatively quickly.
