Let's see what this week brings... DS's 18th birthday is in a week. I have the presents taken care of, just need to make sure I have the ingredients for the cake. I do need to figure out a plan for a history lesson this week and get it scheduled. They want me to request an observation a week in advance but I didn't have that much time so I hope she can come. I'm also starting to teach math this week so I have to be on top of my game.

[X] Mentor Call (Tue)
[X] Cohort Seminar (Wed)
[X] Dental cleanings for all (Thu)
[X] Schedule Observation

[X] Finish book
[X] Lesson plan
[X] [X] [X] [X] [X] CNN10 daily
[X] Record Tuck Everlasting chapter

I'll add items as they come up.

Unfortunately we won't be able to do much, but hopefully the restaurants will be allowed to have seating again by next week so we can go out. If not, we'll just order take out and have cake and ice cream. Maybe i'll let him invite his friend from down the street, we'll see.

What were your 5 chores?
I did 5 different small chores every week.
Things like, clean the stovetop, tidy the plastics drawer, wipe the window sills, clean the clothes dryer vent, tidy my desk drawers, tidy my underwear drawer. Little things like that. I have just found that keeping on top of the everyday things has made it easier doing the HGP.
