Soil Needed

I am a third grade teacher in Virginia and we are beginning a unit on soil and erosion. I am hoping to find some people who would be willing to mail me a sample of their soil. A handful would do. We are doing an investigation on how soil differs in different places. If you could help us, please e-mail me. My students and I would be so appreciative!!! I know this is not really a craft idea or question so if you need to bump me that's ok.

I would love to help you and mail you some Missouri soil, but right now, it's all mud. We've been having rain quite frequently and nothing has had a chance to dry out.

Imagine this situation: the customs officer opens your package and sees the soil (or maybe some different coloured soils in small zipper bags). What would he think about it?
