(So, I'm not as clever at making up fun names like some of you. Maybe you can help!)

Okay, I've done some major cleaning and decluttering with JumpStart January and I need to keep up the momentum. I want to get the outside of the house in shape and I didn't complete everything on JumpStart January lists. Besides, the areas in the house I cleaned at the beginning of the year are in desperate need again!

I set up a plan to take me through the end of summer. We aren't taking any big vacation this year, just short camping trips, but I tried to put the "easy" areas on weeks when I knew we would be gone for part of the week. Since my kids are getting older now, they are able to help a lot more too. I usually have one day each week that is cleaning day in the summer so the rest of the week can be free - that will be our day to focus on the area for the week.

Here's my list, care to join me with yours?

Week 1 (May 5) List week
Week 2 (May 12) Front yard/beds
Week 3 (May 19) Back yard/deck
Week 4 (May 26) Sunroom
Week 5 (June 2) Living Room
Week 6 (June 9) Front hall/entry
Week 7 (June 16) Master bedroom
Week 8 (June 23) Master bath
Week 9 (June 30) Hall bath
Week 10 (July 7) Kids' rooms
Week 11 (July 14) Porch
Week 12 (July 21) Basement
Week 13 (July 28) Kitchen
Week 14 (August 4) Storage room
Week 15 (August 11) Laundry room
Week 16 (August 18) Family Room
Week 17 (August 25) Garage
Week 18 (September 1) Catch up

Wow!! Sounds like you will be working all summer. I need to get a plan also but right now I have the house pretty much under control, I will need to get outside and get some planting done but we have to get a couple of trees cut and then have the yard leveled before I can do anything soooo I will probably be behind this year too...

Momof4 -- do you know what i like about your plan? It is your idea to devote "one" day a week to the plan. Obviously it doesn't have to be an entire day. But limiting it to one day of the week gives all the other days for all the other things life has in store for us! It seems "doable". And that makes it tempting for me. So please count me in!
