To-Do List for Week of 12/30-1/5

With the new year, I thought it would be good to start the weekly To-Do lists again. So, let's get this party started! Feel free to write your list in any format you want. I like to separate mine by the things that I have to do versus what I would like to do, that way the important things get done (hopefully) and I can see where i'm at and work in the fun things too.

MUST DO/APPOINTMENTS:

NEED TO DO:
[X] Neatly put away outside decorations in tote
[X] Sweep/Mop Kitchen

[ ] Vacuum upstairs
[ ] Key call lists for FRG
[ ] Boy's haircuts
[X] Cash money order/check from Christmas
[ ] Mail package to mom
[X] Continue work on DH's package

WANT TO DO:

[X] Take kids to spend Christmas money

[X] Start taking down Christmas decorations inside

HEALTH:

[ ] [ ] [ ] Do some type of exercise (shoveling is a great workout!)

My aim this week (starting Jan 2nd) is take down Christmas decorations, get them back up in the attic and then clean all the bathrooms & floors. Plus a pile of washing (beddings) after everyone will have left on the 1st.

Celebrations are over and everyone is gone.
Today is vaccum & wash all basement floors. dust all basement. rewash downstairs bathroom, change bedding in dd's room. wash all beddings. - DONE
Now bringing Christmas boxes upstairs to get some stuff put away - slowly.

okay, so it is back to work tomorrow and I did not get all my list done this week. There has to be a better way of doing things.
Does anyone do the sort of routine where every night after work they do something?
Like.....Monday, clean bathroom,
Tuesday, do ironing,
Wednesday, vacuum floors, etc etc.

I need to put something like this in place. I am sick of using my weekends playing catch up.

Last day of the week for your current lists! I still have several things I need to get done today so I can check them off, the rest will get transferred to my new list tomorrow morning when I start the next thread for the new week. I think I need to start printing my list.

Katrina- You did pretty good I think! There are all sorts of cleaning plans floating around Pinterest that break things down into days of the week. I did what I wanted... dedecorated, put away all the stuff, dusted everywhere, vaccumed everywhere & mopped everywhere (1st floor & basement) AND I managed to go through tons of papers

Does anyone do the sort of routine where every night after work they do something?.

I use FlyLady's methods. Her routines are short and doable. The key to doing her methods are do not think you can do it all. Set your time and stop when it goes off.

Here are the things I want to work on this week:

Health:
* Waters
* Breakfast
* 3 veggies, 2 fruits daily
* Home cooked dinner
* 5 workouts

Work/Other:
* Re-do master to do list for work
* Figure out paychecks/budget for 2014

Social/Fun:
* The ONLY thing I'm committed to is small group and Vespers- Wed!!!!
* Make a list of people to have over for dinner in the next few months.
* Finish Dream board
* Watch Christmas movies that I didn't get to over the holidays
* Pick out/start a new jigsaw puzzle
* Go to the library
* Go to a movie (maybe)
* Catch up on Grimm & Dracula
