This last weekend in February is a REALLY wintry weekend! SO.... I will be adding lots of Rudy Day activities! Yesterday turned into a wonderful day with the grandsons -- but NO Rudy Day activities!

There is a shift going on in my thinking about Christmas 2010! Definitely even MORE away from spending money! More and more towards concentrating the time and effort on "experiencing the season". Minimizing the time and effort spent shopping -- and eating "out" because there is no time/energy to cook.

What can I do NOW to help with that -- so many months away? Simplify. Declutter. Streamline and organize. Having our home/lives get into chaos preparing for Christmas is the thing that spoils joy for us! And THAT can be worked on this weekend. And THAT doesn't cost money!

Wow! Sparklenana. You've accomplished everything on your list this week. Isn't that a good feeling? I don't get much accomplished thru the week since I work so far from where I live. (67 miles each way) But since I don't plan on having any grandchildren this weekend my goal is:

1.) Attend my son's Baseball team's game tomorrow morning.
2.) Food Shop and cook for my diabetic dog, Brook. (Today's her 8th birthday by the way)
3.) Unpack a couple more boxes. (seems like this is going to take me a year)
4.) DO MY TAXES!

And somewhere in this weekend I plan on celebrating "Ruldolph Day". :)

Have a wonderful weekend MHHer's.

Pumpkinpye -- you have great plans for the weekend! I am very happy that you put some fun things in there to balance "doing taxes"!!! With February weather -- this is a great time for a Rudy Day Weekend!!!!
