I'm feeling quite frustrated. We are selling our house(or hoping to) and anything crafty or fun will make more mess than I want to, in case we get a chance for a showing. I'm also feeling there are other things I should be doing instead.
Also, something is wrong with my back so everything is taking longer and is painful to do-I don't have time for that! Okay enough whining and excuses-thanks for letting me vent!
Keep up the good work, everybody!

Hi Everybody!

JackFrosty -- getting/keeping a house ready for sale is almost a full-time occupation! Very frustrating! I hope that the perfect buyer appears soon!

In another thread, Pam mentioned that there are approximately 50 days until Spring! Wow! I was thinking that we would be in January forever! I used to think "I hate winter because I can't get outside for gardening and fun things!" Lately.... I've been thinking "I LIKE winter because I can't get outside for gardening and things!" More time for inside projects and/or lying around reading and dreaming.

Because when that spring weather arrives..... I WANT to be outside! So.... that seems to give us about 50 days (more or less) for solid inside work. And... this is basically the BEST TIME for inside work for me! By the time cold weather comes around at the end of the year...... I am thinking/doing Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas!!!! So this is it!!!!! 50 DAYS! Hhhmmmmmm........

I know exactly how you feel, JackFrosty. We just sold our house in Aug 09 and moved into a Log Cabin home. I still have about 60 boxes to unpack as we were doing renovations when we first moved in. With working full time and helping with grandchildren, it's taking forever to get settled. Thus, my crafts, sewing and photography have been on hold. It is frustrating! I figured it will take me a year to get everything the way I want it. But my family always comes first and I have to work.

When selling our home, I had to keep everything tidy and clean for showings. I'm very fortunate. Our home sold in 60 days!

Good Luck, Jack Frosty! It will sell and then you'll be like me, trying to settle into a new home.

It's Baseball season soon and back to my Photography!
