This week -- my big efforts are going towards the neighborhood Block Party! However -- any number of people may be coming INTO my house during the Block Party --- to go to the bathroom!! -- Since my house is at Ground Zero for the party.

Yesterday -- I cleaned the 1 and 1/2 bathrooms -- as part of our MHH Tuesday Bathroom Cleaning Club!!!

Today -- I am cleaning all the surfaces in the kitchen (counters, sink, floors.) (Part of my Wednesday Kitchen Cleaning Plan!) Sometimes -- to my annoyance -- people, at the Block Party, ask to come into my house to heat things in the microwave. So.... the kitchen needs to be clean!!! OK -- I can enjoy the clean kitchen!!!

So -- the house needs to be "company ready". Which is fine! I like "company ready" as much as the next person! And I happily accept ANY incentive to cleaning!!!!

Today is Wednesday. I am steadily getting things in order. AND -- putting LOTS of effort towards sprucing up the front and back yards!!!!!! Not ONLY for the Block Party -- for the entire Spring/Summer/Fall!!!

Friday: A beautiful cool day -- so I am getting some extra time working outside!!!

The local school carnival is today. Yesterday was the "Preview Day" for the Book Sale - which was great. I spent a good amount of time browsing and buying! ($1 for brand new (read once) hardbacks. 50 cents for paperbacks.)

today I will go the Carnival itself. A great time to see old friends.

Tonight, I will do some more shopping for tomorrow's Block Party.
