Last Friday, a friend had me over for a birthday lunch. Saturday was Olive Garden dinner with DH and DS. Sunday was my birthday and DS made me croissant breakfast and later grille Swiss cheese sandwhiches. Monday, I got a birthday card from my dad and stepmom. Tuesday, I got DD's card. Today, I opened my gift from DD. She sent a box here with a gift for me and a gift for her friend (since kindergarten). So, I had her friend over (the daughter of my friend that passed last year ... and she and I shared our birthdate, too) and we had lunch and video chatted with DD and opened our gifts ... lovely tea, candles, and honey items. Tomorrow, another friend is taking me to a birthday lunch. So .............. it's been a good "turning 60".

Thursday, my friend took me to a Mediterranean Bowl place. Oh wow! And oh yum! My bowl over flowed with veggie, falafel, and lamb yummy-ness!! We both ate half and took half home.
