That looks very good! I have a turkey breast thawing in the refrigerator now. The plan is to cook it Monday. That will start the week we're home for 3 meals a day for the next 2 1/2 months. Yikes!

Happy Turkey Day

Do something to get ready for Thanksgiving. Even if it's just to think about it.

Any MHHers out there who are just a couple? My husband and I will have an empty nest this Thanksgiving and I thought it might be nice to go somewhere to celebrate (Thanksgiving, not the empty nest!). I'm thinking about an inn that includes a Thanksgiving dinner. Has anyone ever done that or heard of one?

Year before last it was just the two of us. I cooked the traditional meal, because we like the leftovers, and we brought our plates into the living room and ate, with the windows open and a nice breeze blowing thru, while watching tv on the couches. It was quite lovely.

I think going out to dinner would be nice too.

Ok, I've been thinking about this sandwich since I posted. May have to make it this weekend.

I think the East coast have many places that offer Thanksgiving dinner and over night stays. Would be nice to book a place for all three days.
