I remember seeing these last year and everyone was going crazy for them. It just seems weird to me. Oh well!!

I love them. I have already started buying crystal ornaments for mine. Problem is I don't have one yet. I am still trying to figure out how to build a stand for it since I can't hang it from the ceiling.

Like I replied to your post on the other board...

"Didn't like them when I saw them years ago... still don't like them.

Very unnatural looking to me - not tree-like at all!"

It is cute, but I'm traditional. I prefer my right-side up one :)

That's what I said--you can EITHER use it the traditional way (right-side up) or the bizarre way (upside down)...that's the advantage of having this tree: You can use it how you so choose, whatever floats your boat.

I still think they look funny :)

I guess because I am old and stuck in my ways!

I would be interested in seeing them in person though. To each his own!

Hmmm I really don't like the upside down tree. And having seen them on display in shops...they really don't give me that warm, tingly feeling a traditional tree gives me.

I posted this on my facebook for some friends to see and they all thought it was a joke. I had to explain that NO, it is in fact something they sell. And a $300.00 something!

Well, it's better to buy 2 of those, than to buy a single $600 upside-down tree. In fact, that first tree that I referenced (which unfortunately sold out a couple years ago) cost $600.

I think it's quite funny actually. :) of course, last year, I didn't even have a tree... instead used my step ladder, wrapped it in garland and lights... dd was NOT pleased, but I loved it... no mess, no fuss and super easy which was good because until that first weekend in dec is over, it's all irish dance in our house.... (this year we can get a tree though because at least we aren't travelling to the oireachtas, it's only 30 mins away!!! yay!!!!)
