I bought a book of Victorian Knitting patterns - a reproduction for only about $4 on Amazon. Also have picked up vintage pattern books at sales and collected them from family. It is amazing how modern an old pattern can look knitted up in trendy colours. The hat DD5 gets the most compliments on is from a pattern from the 1940s I knit up in neon yarn. :)

Thankyou for that link too! Lots of neat patterns. Even though I don’t knit I still like to look. Have forwarded to my cousin, I think she will be busy this winter.
