Thanks! There were a lot of unexpected family changes this year and it showed up in the holiday preparation. I hope to work on a list of things that worked and things that need to be revamped.

The Christmas decorations are down and the house is back to normal. It looks a little bare, but I like it that way.

My 2014 calendars are filled out and ready to go.

I am still working on my holiday debriefing.

I have one more thank you note to write, I mailed the others today.

Still doing minimum maintenance around the house - it has been really nice having a clean house during the holidays.

Happy New Years everyone! Things are (happily) moving pretty slow this week over here. Tree is still up though I've been putting away the other decor gradually. About fed up with junk food and "stuff" all over my house. Ramping up for a big clean-out, some healthy food and some exercise! (But not til we've finished the eggnog and chocolates).

Have Done:

• taken down the decorations in the LR/DR area.
• worked on the 2014 Calendar
• written out my thoughts on what to change next year and what to continue

Will Do:

• put away the holiday plates and decor in the kitchen
• work on taking the ornaments off the tree. (We're going to keep the tree up with the lights until next week. The trees don't get recycled until then.)
• double check return addresses from this year's cards
• write out thank you notes

I got everything finished on the list. I do think I'll find strays though. I thought I had the kitchen finished and then I found the springerle board. Oh well...
