Week Eleven - Food Storage Week

Freezer & pantry have been cleaned, so has fridge but that must be done again. Need to put stuff in its right place in the pantry... always messed up.

Started feeding the freezer this weekend
I don't have a pantry, just a little extra cabinet, but I cleaned that out when I did the kitchen last week. I cleaned out the fridge and freezer at the beginning of the plan when they were both fairly empty. Now I have to figure out how I'll fit a small frozen turkey into the freezer. The freezer is pretty small and I started grocery shopping for 2 weeks at a time so it is packed right after shopping. Yesterday, I cleaned the dining room so the whole house is officially clean. I'll just be following holiday prep now.

•Thanksgiving Decor -- Is up and looking great!
•Office Paper -- Bit the bullet and bought the bit-too-expensive filing cabinets for the office this week. I'm in LOVE with them and my papers are being either purged or filed. HAPPY ME!
• Kitchen Cabinets -- Discovered Benjamin Moore's "Advanced" paint which might be an easy solution to painting my cabinets inexpensively and actually having them look good.
• FlyLady Zone of Week -- Kitchen -- Currently DH has tile for the new backsplash all over the counters. Uhm....
• Amazon Order -- Placed my first order.
Need to Catch Up
•Go over recipes for Holiday meals & baked items. -- I've started.
•Kitchen cabinets painted (by Thanksgiving.) -- Need pick a color.
•Christmas cards -- Going with just kids in photo. Easier to organize.
•Plan Outfits - What are kids wearing in the Christmas photo?
•Work on Kodak Photo Books so can order during Oct discount. (Still nowhere.)
•Get a lock for gift closet. (At least talk to DH about it)
•Stuffers -- Considering doing a big online purchase.
•Stockings -- Replace them. No luck so far.
•Closets - Rearrange shelves in DD's closet. -- This is underway slowly.
•Kids Bathroom -- Paint kids bath or at least schedule the day to paint.
•Kids Bathroom -- Called cabinet guy. Got transferred to foreman. Currently 4-6 weeks out.

My list of holiday baking is made as well as a list of ingredients needed.
I also picked up Christmas stamps at the post office.
