Hey there. I'm good on my list this week because we only have the one living/family room and I just got it done. I'm gonna work on my craft projects for the most part. I'm just reviewing my lists and notes and doing some knitting today for Rudy Day because I have a sick 2 yr old in the house and can't accomplish much else.

I am going to try to do a little bit of each week's assignment every day, but the bulk of it will have to be done on Saturdays.

This week I need to:

- deep clean and declutter our back room
- move the kids' music books to the filing cabinet
- take apart the shelf unit that was being used for music books
- dust the piano and bench

A month has passed but I'm back! Lordy it has been a time. My Dad's 90th birthday turned into a major trip with lots of taxes, accounting and organization tied into it. But the day itself was great and I think he enjoyed it.

Came back and then have had health issues in the house. One doctor appt after another for this and that and you know how that goes. Pretty soon time just disappears. Am SO glad to be on here getting back on track.

My house is in pretty good shape all things considered (My little ones were an enormous help! Hooray! Patient training and family-time rewards pay off!) Big catch-up to do on the Holiday side, but I've been thinking and planning so we can count that toward the goal, right?

It's late in the week but I'm miraculously free on Sunday so I'm going to go for it and see how far I can get:

To Do this Week:
•Living Room -- DONE.
•Purchase Holiday Stamps -- DONE.
•Declutter Living Room -- DONE.
•Halloween -- READY!
• FlyLady Zone of Week -- Master Bedroom & Closet

Need to Catch Up
•Kitchen cabinet re-do (by Thanksgiving -- hire the tile guy.)
•Christmas cards -- Take photo now that we have Fall colors and order cards.
•Plan Outfits - What are we wearing in those cards?
•Work on Kodak Photo Books so can order during Oct discount. (Still nowhere.)
•Get a lock for gift closet. (At least talk to DH about it)
•Stuffers -- look in Yellow Pages for a Farrells Ice Cream (they have great stuff!)
•Stockings -- Replace them (Schedule day to do this.)
•Closets - Rearrange shelves in DD's closet. It's a disaster and needs a new plan.
•Kids Bathroom -- Paint kids bath or at least schedule the day to paint.
•Kids Bathroom -- Call the cabinet guy. (or at least get a phone #)

Hey there, Cindylou. Thanks for asking! My mom is doing alot better. She's getting stronger every day and the bone dr said she can take off her foot boot on Nov 14th. The neck brace can come off sometimes now which is SUCH a blessing and the plastic surgeon is pleased with how she's healing. She goes back to see him in 3 weeks and we find out about more surgery. I'm so glad I got her into such a nice place because she's gonna be there for a while yet.

Sounds like you've had your share of dr visits and health challenges too.

Since my living and dining rooms are currently "haunted" I need to postpone much of the deep cleaning and decluttering!

Holiday prep
[x] purchase holiday stamps
[x] schedule appt for the boys' holiday photo - Nov 8
[ ] choose design for cards
[x] collect boxes for mailing
[x] set up and restock wrapping/mailing center
[x] inventory Christmas CDs, DVDs, and books
[ ] swap above for Halloween - Tuesday
[ ] take down Halloween decorations
[x] order turkey for Thansgiving

The kids were a big help.
