At the Water's Edge by Sara Gruen
I put my Kindle in airplane mode and books stay there until I take it off airplane mode. I could do the same thing with my Nook. I don't know what device you're using, though, so not sure it would work for you.So frustrated - my library loan of this Ebook ran out when I was about 80% through it. Now I have to go down to the bottom of the request list and wait. Ugh, that will teach me to read faster!

Still reading 25 Days 'Til Christmas by Poppy Alexander. Reading is unfortunately slow going these days with all that I have going on. I find the most time I have to read is in class during their D.E.A.R. (drop everything and read) time. I want to model for the students so I try to read too during that time. I need to implement that in my own house on the weekends for all of us and in the evenings for myself!
I was lucky that it was back in my Available List within a couple of days. Finished it up quickly last night as there is another one to check out now.I hate when that happens...sometimes I'll have to start over or go back a bit because I'll forget what it was about depending on how long it takes to check out again.
Never even thought of a kindle, I could have asked for one for Mother's Day, I am a ninnymuggins. Will see what I can find locally
I can't wait for libraries here to open - I think it's going to be July 4. It's the thing I've missed most during lockdown!YAY, our library has re-opened. I have ordered a lot of books and I need to go in an tidy up my membership, apparently I have 2 profiles that they want to merge.
Will look into e books as I do notice there are more and more in the library catalogue.
