I have a modest chocolate wellspring and considering what is the best chocolate, somebody had stated there ought to be a towering cocoa content in it.

I don't have one so unfortunatly I have no idea. LOL I looked on line and you should be able to find them make for a fountain. I would think the bark that is made for melting would work also. It might need some oil to keep it runny.

In my experience the best type of chocolate is sometimes called couverture chocolate which means that it has 33% to 44% cocoa butter.

i just use regular Guittard chocolate chips in mine. You do melt the chocolate first with oil. i can"t remember how much and I'm not at home right now to tell you. The information was in my manual that came with the fountain though. Maybe you can find a manual online if the information isn"t in yours.

They do sell chocolate melts for chocolate fountains, but I personally don't like the taste of them.
