Wonderful Wednesday Dinner 8.11.10

Good morning!

What's cooking at your house?

Tonight will be Sloppy Joes and Potato Pancakes because of the heat and excitement yesterday, we didn't eat dinner until late and it was pizza!

How about you?

I think it'll be hot-dogs for DH & fish for me,.... unless I can convince him to go shopping... we need to get DD's parking card for school & I want to go to walmart.. they have 4g usb flashdrives for $10 in lots of colors and I want to buy 1 for me & 1 for the 2 kids (I'll put them in their stockings).

Ikea meatballs, with meatball gravy, and oven chips. DD is having a pizza as DH has a meeting and may not be home on time (hot oven means it will all cook quickly when he does give me a 5 minute warning!).

We're having grilled chicken, augratin potatoes and peas.

I'm making dinner to take to a friend, so we're doing something easy to transport. Spaghetti w/ meat sauce and dinner rolls.

probably turkey sandwich, grilled in the skillet, & something - yet unknown - for a side. Something fast & not heavy.

I made pasta with a parmesan sauce, angel hair smoked ham and fresh garden peas. Dessert was a mouthwatering coffee ice cream with chocolate sauce, sliced almonds and cream over the top. Yep, cream, thought it needed a few more calories. lol
