Words of the year - RECAP

I used to have all my words of the year in my signature. Decided to keep just the current one because my signature was getting too long. Of course I did NOT write them down beforehand, so had to go through lots of threads to figure what out what they were. and am missing one

So I decided to make a thread where we have a recap of our words so we can always find them when we want to look at them so they can help us figure out our new words and to see our progress.

I think my 1st one was in 2011 (couldn't find anything prior to that), but I think I probably did start at that point.

2011- Patience
- one step at a time
- breath
- Enjoy the moment

2012- ????

2013 - Tranquil
"Free from agitation of mind or spirit; free from disturbance or turmoil"

2014 - Self-improvement
Improvement of one's condition through one's own efforts.

2015 - Aspire
"To strive, aim towards a goal"

2016 - Simple things
- Be grateful for the little things in life
- Simplify life

2017 - Dare / Oser
To have the courage to try

- to enjoy the NOW

I'm sure I had some before 2012 but they weren't in my file. My mom and I have been choosing words for years.

I joined here in 2008 so next year will be my 10th Anniversary. I don't know what I did before I met you all.
My words have been

Word for 2011: SIMPLIFY
Word for 2012: ROUTINE
Word for 2013: BASICS
Word for 2014: COMPLETE
Word for 2015: ORGANISE
Word for 2010 & 2016: STRIVE
Word for 2017: RENEW

Some years I do really well with my word and some years not so good, but I really enjoy the process of looking for that perfect word.

I did not "save" my previous words. I really wish I had. I need to come up with a word for 2018. I think I am going to go with Lucie's 2015 word.

I had mine in a "memo" on my phone for quite some time. Then I saved them in a Word document on my computer.

I have it in a email on my PC in a folder named MHH

Lowlias - my 2015 word was a good one. My 2017 one was not so good.... just didn't work out.
