Well, I was reading Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger until I mistakenly took my Kindle off of airplane mode and the library book expired so I could no longer read it. I've got myself back on the waiting list. If I stay in airplane mode and don't let the battery run down, I can keep a library book past its expiration date.

In the meantime, I've started reading Here's to Us by Elin Hilderbrand.

It's been a while since posting here, I have read a lot of good books this year, and a few boring ones. Just started Walking on Water by Madeleine L'Engle

I am currently enjoying Silhouette in Scarlett by Elizabeth Peters. Mystery, humor, just fun! Not deep reading, but I've laughed out loud more times than I can count so far... She is a great author, btw, and even better, she's written a LOT of books!

One perfect red rose, a one-way ticket to Stockholm, and a cryptic "message" consisting of two Latin words intrigue art historian Vicky Bliss—as they were precisely intended to do. Beautiful, brilliant and, as always, dangerously inquisitive, Vicky recognizes the handiwork of her former lover, the daring jewel thief John Smythe. So she takes the bait, eagerly following Smythe's lead in the hope of finding a lost treasure.

But the trail begins with a priceless fifth-century chalice, which will place Vicky at the mercy of a gang of ruthless criminals who have their eyes on an even more valuable prize. And the hunt threatens to turn deadly on a remote island, where a captive Vicky Bliss must lead an excavation into the distant past—and where digging too deep for the truth could dig her own grave.

Right now I am reading the 1st book in the Mitford series: A Home in Mitford.
It is very sweet.

Plus trying to catch up with all my magazine reading! You think having 6.5 weeks off I would have gone through a lot of magazines but alas, I did not.

Annie
I LOVE the Mitford Series, Annie! I have read them all twice.

I just finished a biography on Leonard Cohen, by Sylvie Simmons. And a book called, Letters to Katie.
I forget the author's name. I love to read!
