AJ, the treat bags are so cute. Love the night sky paper clips, I think they are gorgeous.

I am gathering all the cards I have saved. I decided to recycle them. I'm cutting off the fronts to make new cards with them. I'll give them to DD's friend who is always sending cards to people along with a roll of stamps. This is a project I started a long while ago.

Nice idea. I have been looking for Christmas post cards and it has occurred to me that maybe I could use the front and add a back,if needed, hmmmm ...

Some photos of doll clothes I am making for Christmas. Still working on the knitted outfit and a couple more items to sew up. I also made a Barbie doll apron and a child apron for DGD Sorry the first attach was a double of the hat and scarf. The writing wouldn't go away.

Jody. They sew up pretty quick once you get going on them. DGD also wants me to make some Barbie clothes. Not sure about those tiny seams though. Guess I will see what the stores get in for clothes as they don’t seem to carry Barbie clothes around here other than close to Christmas.

We are working on cutting off the fronts of our received cards and putting them on card stock to make cards for DD friend's Christmas gift. This friends gives cards out right and left. She is so thoughtful. We have all the fronts and most have the saying cut out too. Next we put them on cardstock.

AJ the monster bags are so cute.
Rose the boxes are sharp. The doll clothes brings back fond memories. They will be a wonderful gift.
My thread arrived for my quilt already. I was so surprised, it only took 10 days from the U.K. I'll start quilting again while I finish up my wallet. I finished the card slots and the pocket piece. I'll get the flap finished today. I'm using a magnetic snap instead of a turn lock. It shouldn't be too hard to install.

Rose, what ages are the girls receiving the doll clothes?

On pinterest I have a broad for 18" doll clothes I run across. I have gotten several patterns off e-bay and when Joanns or HL have 99 cent patterns. I saw and infinity scarf this a.m. on pinterest. I made my niece a purse from denim and a scarf some years back for her doll.

If you would like to see them the scarf is 4-7-14 and purse 3-22-14. My blog is iluvcraftingandsewing and go under the sewing tab. You might have to put the address in seperate as some say they can't get to it when I list it. Pictures use to be so easy to put on the computer and now it is such a hassle for some reason. Hoping after the holidays to get that down pat.

Lana my DGD is 5. She has a 18” doll but it’s not an American girl doll. Her mom is going to wait a couple more years. She has gotten a nightgown and another dress last year for her doll as I make DGd a dress every year for Easter and a nightgown for Christmas every year.

New nightgown/pj’s are a request of my grandchildren every Christmas.

I know what you mean about posting pictures. For some reason I could not resize them like I did last time so when trying to post them here as they were too large. I ended up emailing them to myself than copy and paste to here and choosing thumbnail size to post.

Greetings!

Rose ~ You really do beautiful work. Thanks for sharing pictures. I think I might have gone to tinypic.com last time to resize mine. I don't remember from one time to the next how I did it. Must be the age thing kicking in.

I made a greeting card yesterday and got another one started (machine embroidery), then wound a hank of yarn into a ball, then worked on the felt Christmas stocking for a short time. Making progress in bits and pieces.

While decluttering my craft cabinet I found another box of old cards. I sat down and cut the fronts off. Now we are ready to fold card stock. At least once I find my scoring board. The hunt is on. I put it in a place I would remember.
