After keeping up with this routine since the first week of January, I'm surprised that I don't have the list memorized and that it doesn't seem automatic to me. The only automatic thing is to sit down Saturday night or Sunday morning to make a list and to "Go check the list" on a daily basis.

Household
  • Plan Menu. Done
  • Shop for Groceries. Done
  • Clean Bathrooms Done
  • Vacuum/Sweep/Dust Mop/Dust 1st and 2nd floor Done
  • 15 mins. of daily decluttering in basement. Done
  • Paper shredding (None to do this week.)
  • Cleaning Grand Plan - The next few weeks don’t apply to me so I’ll use it for decluttering the basement and working on Christmas planning. Done
  • FlyLady - Master Bedroom and Bath:
    • Declutter for 15 mins. Done
    • Dust side tables and dresser Done
    • Wash windows, window sills in bedroom and bathroom. Done
  • Write out Bills. Done
  • Lesson Plan Done
  • Take down the evergreens, holly and white lights left up from Christmas.Done
  • Write down hints from Freezer Session Cooking 2018 thread. Done
  • Write down list of traditional Christmas activities and recommended Christmas activities.Done
Personal
  • Write Biography
  • Exercise (5 days)
  • Vitamins (5 days)
  • Drink plenty of water daily.
  • Austen Book Club Reading

I was just reading through some Christmas threads now. I was reminded that I want to go through the Freezer Cooking Sessions for 2018 and make a list of hints for 2019. I'm going to add that to my list for this week.

Mary, my list is much the same every week but I am finding it useful to write it down and check it off as things are done. Accountability.
Looking through the freezer sessions thread is a good idea.

Happy Anniversary, Katrina! :) I hope you had a nice celebration.

This is a note for me but thought I'd share it here too. The one thing I forget every year until I am in the midst of it, is how off track I get in January and February. We have one three day weekend in January and another three day weekend in February. Then we have snow days, two hour delays, and/or early snow dismissals mixed in there. Schedules are constantly being rearranged to accommodate the weather. This really messes up the cleaning routine even though I have a grace day built in. I need to figure out how I will deal with this next January and February.

Mary, thankyou. 33 years seems such a long time but in the other hand it seems like yesterday.
