    Hey everyone,

Time to chose our Rudy Day movies for the year!!

Anyone who wants to participate let us know what month you want as well as the movie you are choosing. I will keep the list updated in this post, so people can see ahead of time what the movies are in case they need time to find them.

I will start first as I have already ordered it from the library, if that is OK with everyone.

    January - happy2bme - White Christmas
    February - housewife2 - Home Alone
March - jampss - Muppet Christmas Carol
    April - momof9 - Arthur Christmas
May - PamelaG - The Holiday
    June - sweetpumkinpye - ELF
July - Sugarplum - Christmas Vacation
August - aggy - The Man Who Saved Christmas/Jack Frost
September - AuntJamelle - The Christmas Box
October - tanya - Love The Coopers
    November - snowlvr - Miracle on 34th Street - 1947 version

Im not sure that you will be able to find it as yet. It was only at the movies last Christmas- which is why I picked a later month to select it. I want to see it again- I think I will enjoy it more the 2nd time I see it.

The list has been updated. I am really looking forward to watching these choices.

Katrina - J loves ELF, so he will be thrilled when June comes.
Tanya - I missed seeing this one at the theater, so I am really looking forward to it being released on DVD.
jampss - I was thinking about your choice over the holidays, but ran out of time. I will make sure I order it in time from the library.

I was thinking of taking September but I'm torn on the movie choice I'd like to make because I'm worried it will be hard to find.

What do you guys think of going with The Christmas Box?

Not sure if libraries would have?

You can still get it on Amazon but it is either a part of a 10 movie package - all Christmas movies - or under the new and used options if just want it.

This is my favorite Hallmark Christmas movie - Richard Thomas (John Boy from the Waltons, Maureen O'Hara, Annette O'Toole - great actors!

"Richard Thomas plays Richard, a ski-shop owner consumed with work and unhappy about his family's insistence on sharing a lonely mansion with Mary, an icy, humorless widow (Maureen O'Hara). While Richard's wife and child develop loving ties with Mary, he suffers recurring dreams and grows convinced the house is haunted by a tragedy from the old woman's past."

You often see this movie on same DVD as it's prequel called The Timepiece - that one is also good, but a little darker due to some of the sad things that happen. :(

    Aunt Jamelle,

I have never seen this movie before, but it sounds good. If you choose the month of September, that would give us plenty of time to find it.

Let us know what you decide to do.

If you guys are game, let's go with it! :) Hopefully, the time between now and September will help folks hunt it down!
