2016 Words.

Time is flying by so quickly. It is time to start thinking about our words for 2016. I have a few in mind but have not settled on "the one" just yet.

Only a few more days left in 2015, I hope that you have all achieved what you set out to do way back at the beginning of the year.

I saw a word the other day and I'm thinking about this one 'RENEW'

My word for this year has been the best word I have ever had. It has ruled my life, in the best way possible.

I have no idea what my word for 2016 will be, but I hope it has as much impact as my word for 2015 has had.

My word was Balance.
I was super happy with it and my focus for the first 6 months or so. Then it was not working so well. Im not sure what I will choose. I have been thinking in the back f my mind but nothing definite as yet.

Tanya, I am like you, I was going great guns for the first part of the year and then things drop off a little. Towards the end of the year I am too busy on other things to remember to work on my word. Maybe we need a rev up and a wind down word.

I didn't have one last year. I think I was barely holding on mentally. As thinking for this year I thought I found one. Then I look on here and see that lulu duo had the same word in mind and she had posted it first. So, I will change. Good thinking lulu duo!! So I am thinking that my new word will be restore! I think that is fitting, as I try to restore my life, my dreams, my thoughts and feelings, my love for life!!

I have picked the word attainment.

Not only for what it describes: a personal acquirement/achievement, but what it does not: failure/loss/surrender.

Doodlebug, it doesn't matter if we both have the same word and as I said I'm thinking about it, haven't really decided for sure yet

Luludou, after giving it thought, I really need to go with restore. I feel after the loss of DH I kind of lost my track and was just going through the motions. So I need to restore my love of life, my relationship with God, everything about me.
Restore is my word!!

I'm thinking of Set Free. Could cover decluttering to letting go of negative thinking. Lots it could cover.

UDATE: Just thought I could change it to Let it Go so it goes with the Frozen movie. Then I'd even have a song for my work.

Diedra I like the fact that you would have a song! Every time you heard it it would remind you to stay on track with you word.

I think that my word may be Results.

When I set myself a goal, or what ever I have to do whether it is at home or work, I want to achieve Results.

Those are really great words.

I think I have chosen mine. It seems like it has a negative connotation, but I really feel that it is something that I must do looking forward. I am going to think about it some more.
