That is a fantastic way to look at things. We are in a shut down here and I'm really trying to look at the positive. I like having the list to keep me focused. I have been keeping up with the exercise and reading now that I have more time. Those have been enjoyable escapes from the world.

An escape is a good way of thinking of it. It seems that a lot has been taken away from us, food, TP, our library and our social life. (all for the good, don't get me wrong) time to focus on finding things. A conversation with a child, watch an old movie favourite, re read that book. Popcorn made from scratch. Lets look for the simple pleasures.

We played Monopoly last night, something I usually steer away from. We had such a great time, we may even play again tonight.

How's everyone doing? I did great on what I put here and got some extras done that I didn't list. However, I feel like there's so much more I SHOULD be doing now that we can't leave the house, but I am having trouble finding the motivation. Can't say it's a time thing anymore. With everyone in the house it's difficult as well. Is anyone else struggling with this?

Yes! Jess, I was just saying this to my mom. She is going through the same thing. In theory, I should have easily finished the labeling of photos with two weeks of being home. In reality, I only did half of the box. We've got another two weeks at home. I am determine to do better with these next two weeks.

Here's my plan. From the weekly list, I'm going to make a daily list and each day divide it into three sections: morning, afternoon, and evening. I'll put down what I want to get done in the morning, what I want to get done in the afternoon, and what I want to get done in the evening. I'm hoping this helps with the motivation.

The one thing my mom and I both committed to was exercising. We feel better and motivated afterwards. I've been doing that so far and I'm really glad that I've done it afterwards.

I am much the same, I would have thought that I would be so much further ahead than what I am. Having DS and now DH at home has put a crimp in my plans. I get started on something and then are interrupted. I might have to talk to them and say this is what I need to do my work and I need your help by not interrupting me.
