In cleaning out some papers in my craft/computer room I found one that I had printed off that says: Rudolph Day Topics and has things listed each month.

April is Christmas Dish Month. You are to collect them all and put them in one place and see what you have. What you don't use move out. See what you need to add to them. Good time to take stock of the Christmas linens it says also.

Then it talks about if you do the 12 Days of Christmas or 24 Days with gifts or activities start planning some things now or pick up a few gifts. Make list at least.

I don't have specific dishes that I use just for Christmas, except for some Christmas bowls that I serve dry snacks in. This is a good time to make a list of new recipes to try next month, and match each recipe to a serving dish. That way, planning will be easier once I know where we are having Christmas dinner this year.

I love Arthur Christmas! I'm looking forward to watching that with the kids. It has been a while since we've seen it :)

Oh! I've never seen Arthur Christmas, but I see it's on Netflix. I think I have a candycane left over from Christmas, so I'll be making myself some hot cocoa and watching a Christmas movie tonight :)
