I made a very similar one- well actually put a new one together from old stuff!
We bought a very similar style ornament from our last trip to the US from San Diego.
I have no idea how but Luke managed to sit on it! So I got a new clear ornament, swept up most of the sand, collected the shells and redid the whole thing.

Nope haven't made one yet but I did buy 12 glass see-through ornaments after Christmas last year. Just waiting to see what I'll do with them
