I am thinking another week of nothing for me. Maybe trying to decide yet.

Same list as last week for me I really need to get moving I can say I am just finishing cutting the vinyl for the clip boards I am hoping Kayla will help me later with weeding (she is just so good at it). Those will be done by tonight. I got the rest of the tulle to finish up one wreath I just need to figure out where it went so I can get that done while outside since it is glitter and I hate to use in the house

-Figure out what shirts I am using for Kenny's t-shirt quilt and start deciding what is going to go where, he has quite a few that say Champion on the back I would like to use those as well, from different invitationals.

-get picture frames from dollar store and see how fast they can order me more

-Senior night gifts x12

-water bottle (Not only am I the cross country and track coach, but I was Kenny's coach lets assume I know it all) is what we decided to put on it
-t-shirt (Am I a slow runner or is everyone Kenny) one of his coaches runs marathons and has a shirt something like this except it says Kenya everyone says it should be changed to Kenny so we are making him one. Kenny wants something so this coach (whom is in his first year coaching) will never forget him. Not that he will he they are friends and were before he got the coaching job.
-something to the effect (we are thinking maybe tile) that says " my first year as cross country coach, Kenny took me to states"

-cut 30 tree's with cricut for my brothers wine bottles for his wedding

-get with friend to see what she wants cut for her wine bottles for her wedding so I can give her price and get those done and over with(she keeps adding more and more I am ready to tell her to order them from someone else)

I blocked one snowflake and I want to try the stiffener made from glue and water. I'm just afraid it'll stay sticky afterwards so I want to try one out before doing the others.

I am really not happy I messed up both designs I had for clip boards and am out of black vinyl. did one last night messed up then messed the other up this morning. I give up at least for a couple of days on it.

Randa's friend is supposed to be dropping me off fleece and picture frames, for me to make blanket and do two little boy frames for Maranda for a baby shower this weekend, this is one of her oldest best friends so I better not screw these up . Hopefully I can work on these later tonight between work and Kenny having two meets, plus having to help with modified meet, Kayla a double header game this week it will be busy and hopefully David figures out what he needs for his kart this week since next week we are adding Friday night racing in there too

Lana ~ Sorry to hear Jaymee is having a rough time. Many hugs and prayers sent!

KimD ~ It sounds like you could go into business with your wine bottle décor! Very nice for a wedding. How long do you have to bring all the graduation ideas to fruition? I’m sure it’s coming up pretty quickly.

Lucie ~ Would like to see your snowflakes. A neighbor gave me some last year, and I love them. I don’t hang them, I just lay them around on the table.

Sunday is DH’s birthday, and I’d really like to find time to experiment with a machine embroidery patch to put on one of his plain sweatshirts (Seahawks logo). I’m pretty busy Thursday and Friday though. We’ll see.

I’m also working on some CCS motifs for Mother’s Day cards, and would like to send DD#2 some organza butterflies with her card if I can get those worked on in time.

I’ve been a little distracted with trying to finish up some quilting projects, but I felt it was a good time to do something for myself.

Then I need to think about something for a friend’s June birthday. I want to make her a cover for her hanging tissue box holder. It will take some measuring and figuring out how to do it.

I bought some fabric stiffener so I want to try that on the snowflakes. I plan to pull in the threads & stiffen them all next weekend and then put ribbons. when done I'll post a picture

Have done some knitting and some work on a new felt ornament project. Also have another tissue box cover close to being finished.

DD senior night is May 3rd and I am not making any progress what so ever. Starting tomorrow is games and meets until Saturday. Friday is Kenny's birthday and his meet is near one of the casinos so were trying to get a room since he wants to go there for the night. They are booked and have to keep checking to see if one has opened up yet.

I love doing the wine bottles it is so easy the hard part if finding wine bottles. There is a person that give's me about a dozen every couple of months. For my brothers wedding his girlfriend drinks an awful lot of wine. The other friend that I am doing them for her sister got 5 cases and will have some left over but won't let me have them since she wants to do stuff with them. Like sit in her garage until she shoots them out. She is one of my great friends but also that type of friend that wants me to give and not give back. Just like these labels IDK I am ready to tell her go pay more for them she wants them at dirt cheap which is ok but quit making more work for me

If she doesn't want to pay much, tell her that she can do the collecting of wine bottles and you will decorate them. Have you checked with local up-scale restaurants. I'll bet they dispense with wine bottles by the dozens. We have wineries all around our lake place, and I would imagine we can get tons of wine bottles and corks from then should we want any.​

We came home this evening. Rain was predicted overnight and in the morning, so we decided not to spend the night. We didn't have to try to pack up in the rain. It will be nice to have the whole extra day at home.

And I got to put my new wicker chest "topper" on it to see how it looks. I'm lovin' it!

DJ she is supplying the bottles. She just won't let me have the extra's. They wanted something to cover up the glue that they can't get off so I am taking the glue off for them so that I know the stuff will stick right and not look like crap. I quoted them a price of $1.25 a bottle and got talked down to doing it all for $1.00 a bottle. Thankfully my brother had to put in an order for vinyl for a couple of sign and shirt orders he has so I was able to get cheaper due to the amount we both needed to order just put them on the same order.

Still nothing done yet I am going to get the designs done for the picture frames for baby shower tonight just need to cut and put them together in the morning and get blanket done also. Randa will be her tomorrow for the weekend due to the baby shower. I have no clue what time we will get back home Saturday since we were able to get the room to take Kenny to casino tomorrow night after his meet

Kim ~ Hang in there!

Had a great day out with the girls yesterday at a quilt show. I must say the heavy emphasis was on “quilting”. There weren’t very many on display with simple quilting. Overwhelming! I’m almost embarrassed to come home and do my stitch-in-the-ditch quilting. We had a nice lunch out, too. I bought some “springs” to make some pop-up thread holders, one for me and one for each DD. Then I found a free tutorial online that makes a really cute one. Oh well!
